A Rescue

Sam the fellow in the background is three months older
and then we got Max at the humane society when he was 11 weeks old.
It is good when you can rescue an animal and he has been such a lovable fellow.
In Ontario it costs $150. to rescue him but it was well worth it.
Also it gives some accountability to people so they are not just getting a cat
and then not taking care of it.  The idea is if you get the cat and pay for it that
you will take care of it.  They are both three years old and counting....

Max and Sam, The Other Members Of The Family

This is Sam on the left and Max upside down!
Cassie loves them but we have to work on her not getting jealous
when we speak or pat them!  She usually runs right over and tries
to chase or tackle them.  Am stopping her and patting them both
and slowly its working. SOMETIMES VERY SLOWLY!
but we will be persistent with her.

Just so you know I am being a good girl for Mom!

Sunday 11 September 2011

It has been a serious day of reflection for me so we just spent quiet time in the house.
Only tonight did we decide to sit out on the porch.  Cassie is very good even when we do not get outside. The sun is going down on a difficult day for so many who are remembering 911.
